We are seeking a highly skilled Northern Municipal Finance Advisor to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide expert financial advice and support to northern municipalities, helping them to achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial analysis and advice to northern municipalities on budgeting, financial planning, and management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with municipal officials and other stakeholders to identify and address financial challenges and opportunities.
- Conduct financial audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $41.362-$51.825 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development and growth.
