The primary purpose of the Administrative Coordinator is to provide high-quality and timely administrative, financial, and coordinating services and support a growing team.
The position is responsible for preparing and managing a wide variety of routine and confidential documents and correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets, coordinating meetings and travel plans, managing calendars and general administrative functions.
The incumbent must be able to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and ensure materials are accurately prepared.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director, Sport and Active Living
- Prepare and manage various documents, reports, and presentations
- Coordinate meetings, travel plans, and calendars
- Manage confidential and sensitive information
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
