Position Highlights:
As an Equity Research Associate, you will thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment. Collaborating closely with an experienced Research Analyst, you will develop financial forecasts and publish research reports that empower our clients to make informed investment choices.

With a flat organizational structure and a collaborative approach, you will have significant opportunities to cultivate relationships with both institutional and corporate clients, gain in-depth sector knowledge, and hone exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills, alongside a comprehensive understanding of capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial statement analysis and maintain financial models.
  • Perform detailed industry analysis and research utilizing various financial and industry resources.
  • Gather, consolidate, and interpret company and industry data.
  • Assist in drafting research publications, including daily commentary, company and industry reports, and thematic research documents.
  • Monitor overall market news and assess market data to identify short and long-term trends.
  • Prepare presentations for meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively and address inquiries from institutional investors.
  • Establish and maintain connections with investor relations and management of companies within your coverage area.
  • Collaborate with sales, trading, and other departments within regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in business or a related field.
  • An MBA, Master of Finance, CPA designation, or enrollment in/completion of the CFA program is preferred.
  • Experience in a financial, analytical, corporate development, or M&A role is advantageous.
  • Sector-specific experience is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in accounting, financial modeling, graphing, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and valuing companies.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and FactSet.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Good business judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • A high level of energy and a strong desire to learn.

Work Arrangement:
This position currently requires on-site work, with an expectation of at least four days a week in the office. This arrangement may change based on business needs.
