Housekeeping (Part-time) Terra Losa - Cleaning and Maintenance Position

About the Role:

The Carrington Group of Companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our Terra Losa location. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our residents, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow a cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are clean and tidy
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces, floors, and fixtures in assigned areas
  • Perform emergency housekeeping duties as needed
  • Replenish bathroom supplies and clean movable and stationary furnishings
  • Clean building surface areas, including walls, floors, windows, blinds, and doors
  • Perform terminal cleaning duties for resident rooms when residents are discharged or transferred
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with housekeeping and/or senior living facilities an asset
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to cooperate with other employees and demonstrate teamwork
  • Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of handling cleaning solvents and chemicals
  • Ability to work in an infectious disease outbreak environment and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
