Job Summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compilation and review of client financial information and working paper file preparation
  • Year-end planning for various clients, including financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Supervising engagements and related financial filings within a paperless office environment
  • Completion of financial assurance engagements with teams of 1 – 4 team members
  • Identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) through technology
  • Identifying and resolving financial engagement issues
  • Training and mentoring junior staff on financial engagements
  • Preparation of financial reports and presentations
  • Ensuring client satisfaction with our financial services
  • Providing timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Identifying and cultivating new financial service or planning opportunities for clients
Requirements
  • A college or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or a similar finance role
  • CPA designation or in progress would be considered a strong asset
  • Experience managing large financial engagements
  • Tech-savvy; proven technical skills in accounting and financial software
  • In-depth working knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Sound working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Advanced accounting, tax, and software knowledge, i.e., Tax Prep, CaseWare, Sage, and QuickBooks
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
