Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Accountable for managing all aspects of parts inventory within the parts system, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient storage.
- Process Optimization: Optimize Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, streamlining workflows and improving productivity.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to grow profitable parts sales, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
- Team Leadership: Maintain a high-performance parts team through hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management in a safe and productive environment.
- Expense Control: Exercise disciplined expense control, ensuring that departmental budgets are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Ensure superior external and internal parts customer service through staff scheduling to cover business hours, providing exceptional support and assistance.
- Product Sourcing: Work with product support and manufacturing groups to source and stock internally manufactured product parts, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
- Business Planning: Develop annual parts sales business plan and budget, including support to other Brandt branches, to drive growth and profitability.
- Cross-Marketing: Collaborate with Sales departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities, promoting parts sales and services.
- Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience in a parts department, preferably with a strong track record of success.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of general parts and warehouse procedures, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational skills, able to effectively lead a team to achieve required goals.
