Pinecrest Remembrance Services Ltd Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Groundskeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds and landscaping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective grounds maintenance
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects
  • Manage and maintain equipment and tools, including backhoes, chain saws, and small engine equipment
  • Develop and implement budgets and schedules for grounds maintenance projects
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of grounds maintenance with other facility operations
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
  • Proven track record of supervising and leading teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment
