Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Guest Attendant to join our team at Aspira Quinte Gardens Retirement Living. As a Guest Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our residents, enhancing their quality of life and promoting a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
  • Offer a variety of support options and program choices to enrich residents' daily health and well-being.
  • Build relationships with residents and their family members, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Assist with transporting residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office, and dining room as required.
  • Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, as well as oral and dental care.
  • Complete laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments.

Requirements

  • Compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fully.
  • Detailed-oriented and strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
  • Exercise tact and diplomacy in working with seniors, their families, and general visitors.
