Job Description

Job Title: Treatment Class Teacher - English and Mathematics Background

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team as a Treatment Class Teacher - English and Mathematics Background. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic programming to students in a treatment class setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students in the treatment class
  • Provide instruction and support to students in English and mathematics
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • Senior qualifications in English and/or mathematics
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and multi-disciplinary approaches to programming

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a treatment class setting, which may involve working with students who have high needs and/or a formal identification. The candidate must be willing to work within the regular or modified secondary calendar.
