Interior Health Authority is seeking a dedicated and experienced Professional Practice Leader – Social Work to contribute to our team at Royal Inland Hospital.


We are looking for an accomplished leader who thrives in collaborative environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships across diverse teams.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Social Work department, overseeing administrative functions, budget allocation, workload distribution, quality assurance, labor relations, and human resource management.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards within the Allied Health services domain.
  • Provide strategic direction and representation for the Social Work profession, upholding professional standards and collaborating with relevant bodies.
  • Contribute to the development and advancement of the Social Work field within Interior Health Authority through practice councils and other initiatives.
  • Advise senior leadership on matters pertaining to Social Work practices and Allied Health services.
