Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
The work setting is primarily in a restaurant that operates in a fast-paced and noisy environment, requiring the ability to manage tight deadlines and maintain high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays to ensure quality and presentation.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
The supervisor will oversee a team of 1 to 10 individuals, depending on the shift and operational needs.
