About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our Total Fund Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly scalable and reliable web applications and services using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and Angular. You will also be responsible for managing and participating in the evaluation and analysis of requests, performing unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews, and documenting and communicating your work and progress.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop highly scalable and reliable web applications and services using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and Angular.
- Manage and participate in the evaluation and analysis of requests.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Document and communicate your work and progress.
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in order to provide guidance to the team and improve existing products and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
- Ten years of relevant experience, with a minimum of seven years of experience in C# full stack development.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Angular, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks features and concepts such as warehouses, databases, roles, security, data sharing, performance tuning, and data engineering.
- Experience in using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience in the financial industry and in monitoring industry development techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy and independence.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients.
- A passion for learning and understanding new technologies and improving skills.
- Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London, and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa).
