Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Control Technician to join our team at INDIA PARADISE RESTAURANT. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Quality Control Testing: Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing, environmental monitoring, and protection activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Sampling and Analysis: Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography, spectroscopy, and other physical and chemical separation techniques to identify and quantify contaminants.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Compile records for analytical studies, interpret experimental or analytical results, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Process Development: Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards, and contribute to the development of standards, health and safety measures, and chemical engineering processes.
  • Training and Development: Conduct safety training programs and develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
