About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Agricultural Labourer to join our team at 2306422 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our crop harvesting and greenhouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of crop growth and development, including water saturation, light, and temperature control.
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a healthy and productive greenhouse environment.
  • Harvesting and Handling: Participate in the harvesting of vegetables, seedlings, and crops, as well as loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, and farm produce.
  • Cultivation and Irrigation: Assist in the planting, cultivation, and irrigation of crops, including fertilization and spraying.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organized, team player, quick learner, and ability to work 35-40 hours per week.
Language and Work Term
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
