About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at Compassion Pharmacy as a Cashier and Customer Service Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing, with a clean and organized counter area.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Help customers with self-checkout, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free shopping experience.
  • Reconcile Daily/Shift Payments: Calculate and reconcile daily/shift payments received with total sales, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Retail Environment: Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a dynamic retail setting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Retail business.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
