We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Mister Greek meat market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meats for sale.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for cutting and processing
- Cut and trim meats to standard cuts
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Grind meats
- Make special sausages
- Prepare displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a butcher shop or meat processing environment
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
Our butcher shop is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing high-quality meats to our customers. As a Meat Cutter, you will be working in a cold/refrigerated environment and will be required to wear protective gear.
