Service Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess customer needs by listening to their descriptions of symptoms and clarifying any issues.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and explaining provisions and exclusions.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, and calculating customer payments.
  • Prepare repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, obtaining customer approval, and answering questions and concerns.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers' publications.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Minimum - years in a customer service role.
  • Auto experience considered an asset.
  • Valid G Drivers License.
  • Able to work flexible hours within our business hours including Saturdays.
