Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dry End Operator to join our team at Atlantic Packaging. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining the equipment/machinery to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with the production crew to ensure smooth operations
  • Program the computer for order sequence and maintain production targets
  • Perform quality checks before and during runs to ensure compliance with company quality policy
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks as required
  • Follow all ISO procedures and report any problems to the supervisor
  • Abide by all plant rules, safety rules, and regulations of the Company

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Follow equipment-specific physical lockout/tagout procedure
  • Complete daily operator checklists for mobile equipment
  • Report all hazards and problems to the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 10 education
  • Basic math skills
  • Previous manufacturing experience an asset
  • Machine operation skills
  • Organization skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts
