Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Work will be conducted in outdoor settings.
- Tasks may involve working at heights.
- Ability to work in confined spaces is necessary.
- Exposure to various odours may occur.
Our projects will take place at various locations, providing a diverse working experience.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings.
- Repair imperfections such as cracks and holes in surfaces.
- Mix paints to achieve the desired colour and texture.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
- Experience with airless spray equipment.
- Proficient in brush painting techniques.
- Skilled in conventional spray painting.
- Familiar with roller painting methods.
- Surface Preparation: Knowledge in drywall taping and patching.
- Coating/Application: Expertise in multi-colour finishes, powdered coatings, and paint spraying.
- Wood Finishing: Experience in staining and glazing.
- Wall Covering: Proficient in wallpaper application.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Strong hand-eye coordination is necessary.
- Ability to distinguish between different colours.
- Physical stamina for bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Demonstrated initiative and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
