Position Overview

We are seeking a Skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Avjot Construction Co. Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry with a focus on framing and structural work.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Setting: Construction sites across various locations
  • Types of Projects: Involvement in both commercial and residential projects
Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and connect materials including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect wall and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and renovations on residential and wooden structures in various establishments
Supervisory Responsibilities

May oversee a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks
