Job Title: HSE Advisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team at Dexterra Group. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Training systems, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, communicate, and assist in the development and facilitation of site Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and table-top drills.
- Facilitate, maintain, train, and distribute various Horizon North HSE Toolbox resources, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA), and Behavior Based Observation (BBO).
- Conduct and/or be directly involved in incident investigations, as required.
- Liaise closely with equipment operators, drivers, contractors, vendors, and other personnel to ensure that Horizon North's HSE mandates, safety culture, and vision are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that any safety concerns are immediately raised with the HSE Manager.
- Remain conversant with local, provincial, and federal OH&S codes, regulations, and laws, and update staff accordingly.
- Liaise closely with the HSE Manager, Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) Claims Coordinator, and Horizon North's extended HSE team.
