Job Summary:

The Millwright Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance tasks in the plant to ensure safe and reliable production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
  • Collaborate with the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other maintenance personnel
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field of mechanical maintenance

Requirements:

  • Certification of Qualification in Millwright trade
  • Ability to work with heavy equipment and machinery
  • Good coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot mechanical systems
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating shifts

Compensation:

$44.04 per hour plus $3.00 per hour skilled trades premium
