Job Summary

Trans-United Consultants Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and ensuring the overall reliability of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment cleaning and housekeeping, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve mechanical issues and ensure minimal downtime.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and extend lifespan.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate of qualification in a related field an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in a heavy industry setting.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a dusty environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret plans and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
