About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor - Finance Professional to join our team at Saturna Group Chartered Professional Accountants LLP. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Accounting System Administration: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial data management.
  • Internal Control and Compliance: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports and findings to inform business decisions.
  • Cost Management and Control: Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to optimize financial performance.
  • Financial Audit Support: Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, Caseware/Caseview, and MS Office.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
