About the Role

Nexus Home Renovations and Construction Corp. is seeking a skilled Floor Sander and Finisher to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our flooring projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
    • Determine layout and installation procedures
  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Repair and service interior prefabricated products
    • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
    • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a physically demanding environment
    • Handle heavy loads
    • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Personal Suitability
    • Be accurate and reliable
    • Meet deadlines and work independently
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience
    • Experience an asset, but not required
  • Work Environment
    • Work in various locations, including construction and renovation sites
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. They will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
