About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at DAAWAT INDIAN CUSINE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of staff to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Kitchen Procedures: Develop and maintain efficient kitchen systems, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, food ordering, and budgeting.
  • Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Compile and submit regular reports on kitchen performance, including inventory levels, food waste, and staff performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
