Reporting directly to the President of Ski NB, the Athlete Development Leader plays a pivotal role in shaping the success of our member athletes. This position demands a deep understanding of contemporary coaching methodologies and a proven track record of athlete development.

Core Responsibilities
  • Alpine Programming: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive athlete programs encompassing U16 High Performance initiatives, annual training plans for U14 athletes, and specialized camps. Collaborate with the Technical Advisory Group to refine program content and ensure alignment with evolving best practices.
  • Para-Alpine Integration: Cultivate strong relationships with CADS-NB and Para Sport NB to seamlessly integrate para-alpine racing into our season calendar. Develop a robust Team NB Canada Games Program for para-alpine athletes.
  • Ski Cross Development: Facilitate ski cross training opportunities by coordinating resources and partnerships with member clubs and other Atlantic clubs.
  • Program Evaluation & Refinement: Gather feedback from athletes, coaches, and parents to continuously improve athlete programs and events. Work closely with the Technical Advisory Group to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary adjustments.
