Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints to ascertain dimensions, tolerances, and layout of work Understand and apply the imperial measurement system Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques based on specifications Align components using tools such as straightedges and combination squares Execute welds on components and assemblies using various welding equipment Maintain equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiencyQualifications
A minimum of 2 years of welding experience Proficient in Oxy/fuel cutting and electric welding machinery Familiarity with GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding processes Experience with welding equipment and procedures Skilled in using both electrical and manual tools Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate work process needs Ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks effectively
