We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Family Violence and Prevention Programs at NorWest Co-op Community Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to prevent family violence and promote healthy relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement program strategies to prevent family violence and promote healthy relationships.
- Supervise and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality programs and services.
- Collaborate with community partners to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective program delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
- Registration with a relevant college or association.
- Master's degree in social work or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in program management and supervision.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical counseling role.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision and leadership in non-profit organizations.
- Knowledge and experience in community development practices, funding requirements, and budget planning.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach.
- Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team.
- Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
