Job Summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist with updating drawings and specifications, document field records, and prepare quantity takeoffs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with updating drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Document field records for quality, production, labor, and materials to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare quantity takeoffs to ensure accurate estimates and project planning.
  • Assist with inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities to maintain project control.
  • Conduct basic safety inspections and training to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes, and billings.
  • Assist with schedules and monitoring performance to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of progressive experience as a field coordinator is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, including supervisors and subtrade partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
