About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer's Vernon Clinic. As a Medical Oncologist, you will work with a well-established team of medical professionals to provide high-quality cancer care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in clinical, educational, administrative, and research activities.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide expert medical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology.
  • Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine.
