At St. Boniface Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a safe working environment. As a Sanitation/Warewash Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our Main Kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general cleaning tasks in the Main Kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Operate the pot washing machine and ensure it is functioning properly.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Assist with other cleaning and sanitation tasks as assigned by the Food Services Supervisor or Area Manager.
- Grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Good personal cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand heat and steam.
