We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at 2709983 ONTARIO INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare teams, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas.
  • Provide technical assistance to surgeons by laying out instruments, setting up equipment, and assisting surgical teams with gowns and gloves.
  • Clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care.
  • Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy.
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
  • Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
