Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Atlantic Chican Seafood. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Simply Accounting, MS Office
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, work under pressure
  • Personal suitability: Time management, adaptability, ability to multitask
