The Senior Manager of Media Strategy and Investment will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction for all brands within the Kraft Heinz portfolio in Canada. This position involves leading external agency partners to develop media strategies that are deeply rooted in consumer insights and an understanding of market dynamics.
In this role, you will be tasked with delivering innovative go-to-market investment strategies, creating exceptional channel plans, and establishing unique media partnerships. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the North American Connections Strategy & Investment team and the US Retail Media and Omni teams to develop comprehensive playbooks for audience engagement, measurement, and integrated brand planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate business goals into actionable media strategies and guide the agency in crafting tactical plans from concept through execution, including media mix and optimization roadmaps.
- Utilize available data, including first-party data, syndicated insights, and digital analytics, to inform the creative process and enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Educate brand teams on media landscape trends, opportunities, and regulations, guiding them towards improved marketing strategies.
- Oversee the development of learning plans and campaign reporting, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders regarding budget and performance analytics.
- Collaborate with Omni Shopper Marketing to devise integrated omnichannel strategies that meet campaign objectives.
- Act as the primary representative for Kraft Heinz media in the Canadian market.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in media strategy development on either the agency or brand side.
- Experience in the Canadian market, with a strong understanding of local dynamics.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across various functions, including creative and finance.
- Familiarity with both digital and traditional media channels, including display, social, video, and search.
- Preferred experience in Retail Media planning or buying.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
This position is based in the Kraft Heinz Toronto office.
