Estate Planning Attorney

Seeking a seasoned Estate Planning Attorney to lead client files and drive impactful results
About the Role
To excel in this position, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a law firm, specializing in wills and estates
- In-depth knowledge of wills and estates law and procedures
- Strong ethics, integrity, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills
- To be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Drafting wills, powers of attorney, trusts, estate administration, probate of wills, estate litigation, and other matters as required
- Providing expert legal advice on estate planning strategies for asset protection and distribution
- Recommending updates to estate planning documents based on changes in circumstances or laws
- Educating clients about legal processes and implications of their estate planning choices
- Maintaining client confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care
