We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technologist I to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine tests and procedures within the Hematology and Transfusion Medicine Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tests and procedures within the Hematology and Transfusion Medicine Laboratory
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely test results
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized program for Medical Laboratory Technologists
  • Registered and a member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario
  • Experience and demonstrated understanding of quality assurance and good laboratory practice
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Participation in continuing education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Recent experience working in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine
