Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Damanjeet Gulati-Khokhar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their roles.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on staff performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics, ensuring that our management team has the information they need to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 48 hours per week.
