Job Summary

DS Electric Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install surface mount and/or overhead cables, and conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems, and repair or replace damaged or faulty components.
  • Testing and Measurement: Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, and provide detailed reports to management.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Work effectively with colleagues and management to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Electrician Trade Certification.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
