Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure and store pharmaceuticals in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and dispense medications to patients, following strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Package and label medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Issue and distribute medications to patients, healthcare providers, and other authorized personnel.
Requirements:
  • Grade XII or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.
  • Basic keyboard skills and proficiency in computer systems, including spreadsheet, word processing, and email software.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
