Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at President Convention Center Inc. as a key member of our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods. They will also work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure a high level of quality in their work.
