Job Title: Housekeeper (Except Private Households)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Silver Creek Lodge. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Guest Services: Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris, and empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, paramedical services coverage, permanent employment, English language, 30 to 40 hours per week.
