Job Title: Housekeeper (Except Private Households)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Silver Creek Lodge. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and handle lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Administrative Tasks: Shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
