About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Consultant to join our team at GBS - Global. As a key member of our Benefits and HR consulting team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients build workplaces that work better.

Your primary accountability will be to develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients with emphasis on small to mid-size companies with high revenue. You will participate in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel, developing a pipeline of business opportunities that are an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion.

You will introduce Gallagher's full-service offering to broaden the scope and impact of client relationships, assisting, educating, and mentoring other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements. You will convey deep technical expertise and business insight in helping clients evaluate opportunities to reduce cost, risk, and improve the overall competitiveness of benefits, retirement, and HR services.

Constantly staying ahead of industry, market, and legislative trends that impact health & welfare plan design, delivery, and compliance, you will develop proposals that are fiscally sound, reflect an appropriate investment in the client, and demonstrate the overall capabilities of Gallagher.

You will establish and maintain inter division/intercompany relationships consistent with our workplace culture.

About You

We are looking for a Benefits Consultant with significant consultative B2B sales experience, who has developed new business as well as maintained an existing customer base. Experience in the Benefits Administration and Consulting industry is ideal.

You will be successful if you possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team selling environment, and a results-oriented approach. A real passion for building relationships and collaborating toward success is essential.
