Your Role

Our Kenora office is seeking a Manager to oversee the Assurance division and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee audit and review assignments for both public and private sector clients, ensuring adherence to applicable professional standards and internal policies.
  • Efficiently plan, direct, and execute assurance and non-assurance projects.
  • Assurance & Accounting initiatives may encompass the preparation of financial statements, accounting consultancy, and involvement in tax services for assurance and non-assurance clients.
  • Continuously develop business opportunities with current clients.
  • Promptly address client concerns, adhering to BDO policies while utilizing your robust technical skills and accounting expertise.
  • Leverage relevant industry knowledge to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues pertinent to the client's operations.

Your Qualifications
  • You hold a CPA designation.
  • You possess a minimum of 3-4 years of audit experience within the public accounting sector.
  • You have at least 1-2 years of management or leadership experience.
  • You have a passion for working in the non-profit sector and are eager to expand your knowledge in this field.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and meticulous quality in your work.
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
