The Role
We are looking for an Insurance Advisor to work in a small local agent office, with a 36.5 hour work week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:00 pm. The ideal candidate will have or be willing to obtain the necessary licenses to sell car and home insurance, as well as life insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to cross-sell and upsell home, auto, life, and vehicle loans to new and existing clients.
- Identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services based on client requirements.
- Handle phone and email inquiries and requests from new and existing clients.
- Schedule appointments and build strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a strong ambition to succeed.
- Ability to network and connect with people effectively.
- OTL/RIBO and LLQP designations are an asset.
