Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team at Vaco. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct risk assessments and internal reviews to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Collaborate with business partners to assess and mitigate risks, and implement process improvements.
- Manage risk infrastructure, including risk categories, risk register, issue tracker, and guidelines.
- Source, transform, analyze, and report on information from various sources to identify risk trends and opportunities.
- Experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, consulting, finance, or a similar environment.
- Ability to liaise with, negotiate, and influence business partners across the organization.
- Excellent analytical skills in assessing multiple sources of information and performing computation tasks.
- Strong presentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
- Strong work ethics and diligence in handling confidential information.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
- High accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
- Completion of financial and/or securities-related courses preferred.
- Coding knowledge considered an asset.
