About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager: Provide support to the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, paperwork, and merchandising.

  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive fast and friendly service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Planning and Organizing: Assist in planning and organizing store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.

  • Cash Handling and Bookkeeping: Assist with cash handling and bookkeeping tasks, including making bank deposits and maintaining accurate records.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that our customers and staff are not impacted.

  • Safety and Security: Ensure that our store is safe and secure, adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Planning and Organizing Skills: Assist in planning and organizing store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.

  • Cash Handling and Bookkeeping Skills: Assist with cash handling and bookkeeping tasks, including making bank deposits and maintaining accurate records.

  • Problem Solving Skills: Identify and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that our customers and staff are not impacted.

  • Safety and Security Skills: Ensure that our store is safe and secure, adhering to all company policies and procedures.

  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Retail Experience: Previous retail experience, preferably in a management role.

  • Management Skills: Proven management skills, including leadership, communication, and problem-solving.

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to our customers.
