Responsibilities:
Transporting items to and from the retail area and arranging shelves and displays. Preparing items for sale by hanging, cleaning, and packaging as necessary. Inspecting, sorting, and evaluating donated items. Identifying and processing recyclable materials as needed. Training fellow Goodwill associates on how to execute all aspects of a specific role, including necessary paperwork and documentation. Demonstrating expected behaviors and attitudes essential for a specific role. Clarifying the inter-relationships between various areas within a specific role. Assisting the supervisor in designated areas as requested. Completing required paperwork.Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Minimum age of 15 or older. Must be eligible to work in Canada. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends. Capability to perform physical tasks consistently. Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles, and antiques is a strong asset but not mandatory. Exceptional customer service skills, going above and beyond for all Goodwill customers. Ability to demonstrate teamwork and engage fellow Team Members in contributing to Goodwill's mission and core purpose. Open and honest attitude while making ethical decisions. Recognizing the efforts of fellow Team Members through genuine acknowledgment activities. Contributing to a welcoming and inclusive work environment by showing respect at all times. Holding oneself and fellow Team Members accountable for their roles and contributions to Goodwill's mission and core purpose.
