About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist in Biochemistry to join our team at the University of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our research institute, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in biochemistry and contributing to the advancement of our understanding of biological systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute experiments to investigate biochemical processes and mechanisms
  • Analyze and interpret data to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects
  • Develop and maintain laboratory protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a related field
  • 3-5 years of postdoctoral research experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
